Why we created Grubbx
A note from the Grubbx team, May 2026

Brand an idea that needs a shape Business with knowledge worth keeping Team people who make decisions Brand rules and assets to work with
Building a brand often starts with excitement and ends in folders, opinions and files nobody knows how to use. Grubbx exists to change that process.
Small business owners know their product, customers and the decisions that made it possible. Yet brand tools often ask them to think like strategists, writers and designers before they can start. It's an unnecessary barrier. The knowledge already exists; it just needs questions that make it useful.
That's why the process starts with the real business. It asks what you sell, whom you help, which alternatives your audience uses and what you can demonstrate.
The answers don't disappear into a document. They become decisions that inform voice, design and applications.
The challenge isn't just creating a logo. It's connecting every part and maintaining it as the business changes.
Many businesses receive a beautiful presentation and then have to solve everyday problems alone. Which file does the printer need? How do we write a new post? What changed in this version? If the system doesn't answer those questions, the brand depends again on the memory and taste of whoever has the file open.
The more pieces a business needs, the more important clear decisions become. A small team also deserves a brand system it can use without an agency by its side.
The Grubbx team
A useful system doesn't hide complexity behind an automatic answer. It breaks the work into small decisions, explains why they matter and lets the person choose.
AI can explore approaches, flag contradictions and adapt a decision to another format. It shouldn't invent a story or approve things for you. In Grubbx, every proposal can be edited, compared and rejected. Judgment stays with the people who know the business and can explain the changes.
The project preserves that judgment. Each comment is tied to a version, and each approved asset enters a library the team can consult.
A new piece doesn't start from scratch. It builds on strategy, voice and assets that have already been reviewed.
We're building Grubbx for people who want to do their brand well and also have a business to run. The workflow should teach enough to make decisions without turning the project into a course.
We don't measure value by the number of options generated. What matters is a specific direction, a team that can explain it and assets that work beyond the screen. That takes fewer grand statements and more visible decisions. Clear strategy defines what to say and to whom Your own voice turns direction into messages Visual system assets with rules Real applications bring your brand to everyday work
That's Grubbx: a place to turn business knowledge into a brand you can use.
